Surprisingly good for the name. Very roomy, lots of space, docks out back if you want to fish and catch Northern and blue gil.

We stayed on February 28th-March 1st and had a WONDERFUL experience. Missy at the front desk was so kind and accommodating, The man working breakfast this morning was so polite and helped us make pancakes. Pool area was clean and towels were stocked. We will definitely be coming back for another stay especially in the summer to enjoy that beautiful view of the water!

Stayed there in Feb 2025. This is a you get what you pay for type place. The room was nice, and relatively clean and modern. Coffee pot was not cleaned, but you can easily just dump it out. You will need to make sure you can climb stairs (if you stay on the 2nd Floor) there is NO ELEVATOR on premises. This is also a great place if you have kids, pool was open from 8:30-10:30, so you can expect screaming from the pool until close. If you have kids, you can tolerate this more than people just staying here. Kiddy pool was great, and big pool as well. Sometimes packed with kids, basketballs and footballs flying everywhere. Breakfast was OK. Per other reviews, I already knew what to expect, Microwaveable Jimmy Dean sandwiches (limit 1 per person), pancake maker, cereal, yogurt, milk, coffee, apple/orange juice. Overall, it was a decent experience. Probably good for a night or 2, but more than that it may drive you insane.

Room was spacious and clean. Well stocked with towels. Bed was firm, but comfortable and pillows were great.I booked late so was in a pool facing room, but people and noise stopped at quiet time. Had a drink and appetizer at the bar. Staff was polite and efficient. Yes, the hotel is aged a bit, but everything seemed in working order with no mildew or musty smells. Would definitely stay here again.

First time booking with them. The only complaint we had was when we got to our room, there was kid prints on the window and makeup or food all over the window sill where the AC was. We said something to the front and they got it cleaned quickly. If you have kids I would recommend front rooms at hotel where the pool is because of the bar in the back we wish we would have had a back room by the bar. update: If you are kid free you will want a room not connected to the pool room we heard kids yelling as early as 730am the last 2 mornings we where booked. They had a laundry mat about $5-$6 to do one full load was pretty clean. washer and dryer worked good. they had vending machines.

Great location on the river close to many things. As a bird watcher, I thoroughly enjoyed the views! The room was clean enough and spacious with a small table and 2 chairs to use for relaxing or eating/games at the table, in addition to desk. Could have used an extra plug or two, but we made do. Nice and quiet heating/cooling system for room. Great shower water pressure! Average mattress. The pool/hot tub area was nice. The hot tub was at the perfect temperature. The kids seemed to enjoy their pool offerings. The area was always clean. On-site maintenance personnel were seen on the regular. All front desk and breakfast staff were friendly. The only thing that really disappointed us was the "breakfast." One Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich per guest. Then bread, pancakes, a couple of cereal choices, yogurt. In fact no decaf coffee was offered in the breakfast area.

The staff were ok they just all seemed to be unhappy or not really friendly. They weren't rude just didn't really say hi or care if they were there or not. The breakfast was not good it is just breakfast sandwiches you heat in microwave, cereal,toast,pancakes from a machine. No fruit or bagels. I wasn't expecting a big fancy breakfast but some eggs and sausage would have been nice. It was overall clean and a nice location. The pool area was great but definitely loud if you get a room overlooking the pool. Also no elevator if you stay on the second floor you will have to carry all your things up stairs.

Great location with a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Onsite dining was convenient, and the indoor water park was a huge hit—especially for families with little kids. The only downside was the lack of an elevator, which made getting around with a stroller and kids a bit challenging.
